<p>Plan- drawing of what you would see looking down from the ceiling.</p>
<p>Scale- the ratio of the distance on a map to the real distance</p>
<p>Aerial photo- a photo taken form the air</p>
<p>As the crow flies- the straight line distance between two places</p>
<p>Sketch map- a simple/ rough map to do a job</p>
<p>OS (Ordnance Survey maps)- maps of places that are to scale and give a lot of detail</p>
<p>Contour Lines- line on a map joining places that are the same height above sea level </p>
